چکیده
Background: Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is an immune mediated lung disease caused due to hypersensitivity reaction of antigen Aspergillus fumigates. ABPA more prevalent in patients with asthma and cystic fibrosis. Thus, the current investigation was done estimate prevalence association resistant asthma, identify clinical laboratory pointers effect its treatment on course asthma. Methods: Current a prospective non-blinded study conducted Rajiv Gandhi government general hospital, Chennai bronchial having frequent exacerbation related problems. Demographic, (hematological) radiological investigations were performed for staging all enrolled patients. Follow up periodically investigate re-admission respiratory events or other illnesses. All collected data statistically analyzed. Results: Prevalence 19%. Positive family history, history atopy recurrent exacerbations identified as significant risk factors among Whereas duration severity had no patients, bronchiectasis parenchymal damage significantly observed ABPA. Skin prick test serum eosinophils IgE antibody levels good screening parameters Prednisolone itraconazole are considered highly reliable effective strategies ABPA.Conclusions: revealed that must be possible prevailing refractory cases conventional steroids.

Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is a syndrome seen in patients with asthma and cystic fibrosis. It is characterized by chronic colonization of the airways with a ubiquitous fungus, Aspergillus fumigatus. The clinical expression of ABPA results from the complex interaction of chronic colonization of the airways with A fumigatus, host factors allowing this colonization, and the hos...

Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA), a progressive fungal allergic lung disease, is a common complication of asthma or cystic fibrosis. Although ABPA has been recognized since the 1950s, recent research has underscored the importance of Th2 immune deviation and granulocyte activation in its pathogenesis. There is also strong evidence of widespread under-diagnosis due to the complexit...

Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis is an uncommon but serious respiratory condition characterized by chronic airway inflammation and airway damage resulting from persistent colonization by and sensitization to the fungus Aspergillus fumigatus. The immunopathogenesis of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis involves several pathways. Aspergillus allergens stimulate an interleukin 5-mediat...

Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) is a hypersensitivity lung disease mediated by an allergic late-phase inflammatory response to Aspergillus fumigatus antigens. ABPA is characterized by markedly elevated Aspergillus-specific and total IgE levels and eosinophilia, and manifested by wheezing, pulmonary infiltrates and bronchiectasis and fibrosis, which affect asthmatic and cystic fib...
